Delete your Retrat account
Last updated October 13, 2026
You can ask for your Retrat account and the data in it to be deleted at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next. See our Privacy Policy for what Retrat keeps while your account is open.
In the app
- Sign in to Retrat and tap the settings icon at the top of the screen.
- Open Deactivate or delete.
- Tap Delete account, confirm, and enter your password.
If you can’t sign in
Write to support@retratapp.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Retrat account”. We’ll confirm it’s you before we act on it.
What happens next
- Your profile, posts, and comments are hidden right away, and you’re signed out everywhere.
- Your account is permanently deleted after 14 days. Signing in before then cancels the deletion and brings everything back.
- When it’s deleted, your profile, the photos and drafts you posted, your comments, your circles, and your connections are removed, and the stored photo files are erased.
- A moment you host goes to someone else in it, with everyone’s photos, if there is someone; otherwise it is deleted with your account.
- Deletion can’t be undone once the 14 days are over.
Less than everything
- To take a break, Deactivate account hides your profile, posts, and comments and deletes nothing. Sign in again whenever you want to come back.
- To remove only some of what you shared, delete individual posts from the post’s menu in the app or on the website.
